National Honor Society For Dance Arts

Celebrating the artistic merit, leadership, and academic achievements of our exceptional dance students, while helping to create honor and prestige within our field.

NHSDA secondary program goals for grades 9 to 12, including promoting lifelong learning in dance, encouraging understanding and appreciation of dance as an art form, and recognizing honor students for nominations to national honor programs.

Eligibility Criteria for Student Induction

Induction into the NHSDA Secondary Program is earned through the accumulation of at 30 points awarded for dance activities such as dance classes, rehearsals, performances, research, workshops, or community service activities, alongside a minimum GPA of 3.0.
